I am in Class 8th. How to ensure good rank in IITs?

1. Patience is what Irrfan Khan is to Bollywood. Acquire it!
2. Stay Foolish so that people don't mind teaching you, Stay Hungry so that you always strive to acquire new skills and gain knowledge.
3. Focus on the present. Do well in academics in Class VIII. Participate in extracurricular activities. Take part in Debates, Discussions, etc.
4. Start taking care of your physical and mental well being.  Eat Healthy, Drink plenty of water, Exercise.
5. Concentration- Learn to Meditate and improve your level of concentration. Play mind games to exercise your mind and keep it fit and active.
6. Positive Attitude- It is a game changer. Please develop a rock solid attitude that helps you deal with the uncomfortable situations in life.
7. Enjoy the roller coaster ride that life offers. NEVER BACK DOWN.
8. Understand that Life is not a race. Don't follow what everyone else is doing.
9. Understand rules of the game. Create your own path. Rewrite rules.
10. Confidence is the key. Work on improving it.
11. Life is all about people. Make friends. Help others. Be a mentor. Get mentored. Follow your role models but be yourself.
12. Be Unique. Stand out among the crowd. It is not that difficult as it seems.
