The details provided are not sufficient but I am trying my best to understand your situation and hence I am offering the following tips:
- Identify what you want to write upon ( Subject)- Cricket, Sports, Stories, Gadgets, History, Economics, etc
- Do you want to write for Print media or Digital Media. Figure it out.
- What type of things you want to write- Book, Novel, Blog, Article, Journals, Stories, Breaking News, Investigative articles,
- For whom you want to write- Times of India, India Today, Reader Digest, etc
- How to develop the skills and expertise to land at your dream job? Ask me with more details.
- What to do till you get that dream writing job? You have to do some freelancing or work for less popular publications or websites.
I have no job at the moment, and yet what I really want to do is become a writer full-time.
- If you don't have any financial problem and can work for a meager pay for few initial years then find some unpaid internships.
- No one will pay you well for writing unless you make a mark with your works.
- If you want to play safe, you can get any job and pursue writing as a hobby in the initial years. Start a blog and keep writing. Gradually start writing on popular websites and develop your portfolio with wonderful articles to your name.
- Write on Quora. Don't get tempted to be a populist rather follow your heart and write only on what makes you feel happy. Else you may burn out. Learn from others but never ever copy anyone. Write from your heart and follow your passion for writing. Sooner or Later, people will identify your talent and you will get the recognition you deserve.
- Even Einstein worked as a Clerk to support his family. But that doesn't stopped him from becoming a great scientist. If you have the passion to be a writer that you will become a writer.
