I love the memories of my past. But, past is just the collection of present moments. This moment will be past after a second. So, always enjoy the present moment. when you believe that everything happens for good then you start finding positives in every situation.
We live an imperfect life. We want something but we get something else. There is nothing to be disheartened. Let us make our life imperfectly perfect.
I would support my answer with the example of the way our life has transformed around the festival of love of brothers and sisters, Rakshabandhan.
I miss my home the most on Festivals. I have fond memories of my childhood when my sister would tie Rakhi on my wrist. It hurts when I am unable to be with my sister on Rakshabandhan.
But, rather that fretting about the past when my sister would tie Rakhi on my wrist. Now, I do it myself with the help of my roommates. I am fortunate that this time, I was around my cousin (sister) during Rakhi.
One of my cousin is in Europe and we decided to give him a surprise treatment yesterday on Rakshabandhan. The pictures will tell the story. He must be overwhelmed with the way we celebrated Rakhi with him. In the first Photo, his elder sister is celebrating Rakhi with him and I was thrilled to witness it in Mumbai. I got the second photo this morning on WhatsApp where her younger sister is capturing a lifetime memory with him.
I often feel that Technology has made our life complicated but yesterday I was really touched by the way we celebrated Rakhi.
Hope you got the message that we have to make things happen. Take some effort to decorate our present irrespective of your situation.
