Meaning: I will communicate what I feel or believe and not what is popular or trending. It is all about following our heart rather than our mind.
Example - When my personal best answers fail to compete with the smart & quirky answers, then I remind myself of this phrase which inspire me to keep writing passionately from my heart even when I feel underrated & unpopular. I believe that writing is an art and I need to better my skills.
Some directors make Art movies which involves more hard work than commercial movies but they earn less money. May be they are more passionate to follow their heart and hence they don't shy from making movies on topics which are followed by less people.
