When I was 4 years old, I played with my Dad.
When I was 12 years old, I feared my Dad ( as I was not good in academics so results and parents-teachers meetings were a nightmare for me)
When I was 16 years old, I felt he doesn't understand me . I had a problem with almost everything that he would suggest. I was like a rebel. I felt that "he is wrong and I am right". So, questions on quora where teenagers ask " How can I make my Father understand this..." brings smile on my face.
I felt his thinking was outdated. I used to give tantrums. I would not talk when I used to be upset with him just to get pampered and get attention.
Now, I feel that he is always right. In fact, he was always right. He is my most trusted friend. Today, I admire everything about him. I even tell him that at more than twice my age, you have more stamina than me. His wardrobe ismore diversified than mine.
His thinking is liberal but I misread him.I am lucky that I realized that my Dad is awesome. Many learn this when they become fathers and their sons start thinking that they are wrong.
He is an all weather friend who never complained when I deserved a tight slap. So, I feel that dealing with the teenage of a son or daughter is one of the hardest things for any Father.
