How to break contact with someone?

Be direct. Nothing can beat the simplicity of catching the bull by the horns.

Be kind and tell him that you want some space to figure out other things in your life. So, you can't interact with him so often.

Please accept that he will get hurt anyway. So, you can't do much about it more than being nice and respectful.

I am reminded of a prisoner who had been given the option to die by drinking poison or getting hanged. How does that makes a difference? May be drinking poison would be less painful. I guess. But, pain will always be there.

Amen!

Should People get the RIGHT to DIE in India?

Let us first avail the "Right to Live"

"Right to die" is to die as per one's own will. People who are terminally ill and want death to get over their pain might be allowed to embrace death. But, for others I have something to say.

When you don't live as per your will, you are not eligible to die as per your wish. Before dying

1.   Choose a career you wanted to have,
2.   Marry the person of your choice,
3.   Love and get loved,
4.   Live life like a king even for a day,
5.   Quit the job you hate,
6.   Go trek the mountains,
7.   Feel the breeze, smell the roses,
8.   Find love in small things,
9.   Be a child always,
10. Chase your dreams, not people.
11. Take a dip into the ocean of uncertainties,
12. Be adventurous, enjoy the complimentary roller coaster ride that life always offers for free.
13. Live a day without complaining,
14. Be yourself more often, live life,
15. Do mistakes, learn and then do new     mistakes,
16. Laugh at your failures not at others,
17. Make fun of your yourself, everyone (including you) will feel better,
18. Explore a place on a shoe string budget. Feels great.
19. Earn Trust. Be Trustworthy. It takes time to build trust. It takes seconds to lose it.
20. Be an observer. Look for ideas, thoughts, inspiration.
21. Realize that Beauty is not about the external features. It's about the heart.

After all this, you will never want to die but when you die, there will not be any regrets.

Read with a pinch of salt and  Have a nice day :)

Will getting into a relationship will boost my self-esteem?

I am sorry, but it's a NO.

Self esteem is  our own perception about ourself.

From your question, I guess the reason for your low self esteem is because you are not in a relationship while many of your buddies are. Seeing them in a relationship makes you feel negatively about yourself.

But this is not the root cause of your Low Esteem.

The root cause of the problem is that you are not doing thing you truly love doing. Make a list of things that  brings you to life.

If you do things you love even as a hobby then you will certainly feel good about yourself and might feel life is beautiful.

How to overcome hesitation while talking to strangers?

Easy answer-

You can call Customer Care of your Network Provider and talk to them. They are polished speaker and they will listen to you patiently. A great practice tip.

Long answer-

I used to hesitate while talking to unknown people:

Reasons for that feeling:
  • Lack of confidence
  • Low self esteem
  • Not comfortable talking in English with the polished speakers
How I overcame it?

No fancy answers here! My job profile required me to meet business executives almost everyday. I had to organize business meetings. I would tremble to give my introduction, presentations, etc but slowly it became a fun activity. Now, I love meeting people and I am not nervous even while meeting any one, whether they are CEOs, Directors or Founders.

I was thrown in the ocean when I didn't knew swimming. Somehow by trying hard I learned to overcome the hesitation.
  • Be yourself- Don't worry about your accent.
  • Don't compare yourself with the polished speaker else you will have low confidence.
  • Speak at a slow pace and often practice speaking in front of a mirror.
  • You can practice speaking on a topic for a minute with your close friends.
Extra Tip- The more you practice, the better you become. Face the Fear and fear will disappear.

Should I tell a girl that she lost weight?

As you are not sure how she will react to it when you will say that she is looking skinny so, say something which was true and is true. As "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", so tell her that

"You are getting more beautiful with time. What is the secret of it?"

She will really appreciate your compliment.

She has lost weight and that is visible to everyone, if she is ok with telling that she has shed some extra pounds then she will tell that herself.

Hold your temptation to compliment her on shedding weight as "Some things are better left unsaid"

The phrases are so apt for this situation. Isn't it?
