How Can A New Blogger Attract Audience?

I am in a good position to help you because of my diversified experience as a blogger with multiple blogs on quora and google.
Here are some lessons that would be vital and valuable for you as a blogger to attract audience.
1. Nobody is interested in making your blog a success. You gave link to your blog but pardon me, as I didn't checked it.
2. Be Interesting. You could've written a  brief description about your blog. My friend, you missed an opportunity to convey what kind of blog it is. (See how I'm describing my blogs)
3. Target Audience - Who are your target audience. Find them. No...create value foe them and let them find you.
4. Quality surpasses Quantity.
5. Don't start blogging if you want to earn some quick money. Only start blogging if you've a passion for writing and helping people.
6. When you write about your experiences that has high value for people then they would come and follow your blog to learn.
7. Don't ask anyone for a favour unless you've helped someone. It's better to give favors. What goes around comes around. :)
I run many blogs. Here is a glimpse.

What you have done for 30 days that changed your life?

I gave myself open challenge on 10th June 2015 to write 111 beautiful posts when I neither had the skill, nor determination to start writing. Fast forward 8 months. I successfully run half-a-dozen blogs* [Blog Description at end] which ranges from Career advice, CAT/GATE/PSUs Preparation Tips, blogging and writing tips, Blog as a successful platform for budding poets, Psychological Patterns, Life Lessons, etc
Hello Everyone,
I am a simple person who always tries to push his limits.  Easy stuffs do not motivate me. I am driven by quality, passion and purpose in life.  I have challenged myself in front on my blog reader that I will write 111 beautiful blog posts in 30 days i.e. by 10th July 2015.
Hope to delight you with my blog posts whose underlying theme is that Life is beautiful and we are here to make it more beautiful.
I will keep you posted of the updates on my goal here. You can follow my blog on Google plus or can subscribe through email.  Enjoy this blog  Life is Beautiful !!
CHALLENGE : To publish 111 beautiful blog posts in 30 days!!
UPDATE          : 43/111 Completed- 30 Days!!!
OUTCOME     : I aimed for 111 posts in 30 days but could write 43 posts in that time. I am very happy with the experience as this challenged encouraged me to write regularly. I am looking forward to keep writing.
Although, I failed to complete the challenge. I lost the challenge but also won as it made me who I am today. That challenge kept me awake till 2'o' clock in night when I used to wake up at 7 in the morning for office.
It is one of the best thing I did to kill procrastination. I've skipped meals as I was so much into writing that I didn't realized that it's already midnight. It has been a time when I was writing, writing and writing.
My roommates felt that I've gone crazy, some felt I'm trying for any competitive exam. Although, I was not preparing for any exam but the intensity was much like my IIT Preparation days. Ah...those golden days.
I was working for 12 hours due to some hectic schedule still I would cut down on Lunch time, phone calls and all that I could to get a little more time for writing.
The lessons I was learning was impeccable. I was wise to pick up early that I won't get readers from the blog and rather than worrying about audience. I started building my blog- brick by brick. It is that strong foundation that got laid then which enabled me to transform my future as a writer or blogger by leaps and bounds.
I've written around 400 posts in 6 months which gave me the confidence to scale up things. I am now into niche blogging despite by busy schedule. The lessons I learned as a blogger is a experience worth the effort. I didn't paid in money to learn blogging. I paid with my hard word, sheer determinate and the courage to keep going despite some personal setbacks.
In fact, blogging helped me get past those hurdles quickly and I was on a fast track. I've got the aggression in my efforts and tranquility in my writing.
I'm still a newbie writer who used blogger and Quora to be a writer, story teller, blogger, Ardent observer, Motivator, Poet, and career consultant.
All those were the things that I identified that I would do for free if money is not an issue. After procrastinating for long, I found my calling. I know how I'm going to scale up things. In my Life- Quora, My Day Job and Blogger all compliment each other.
I use Quora in a way that is different from the way most people would use. See how I used Quora as a Writing Platform Rohan Sinha's answer to What is a good site to improve your writing?
Miles to go before I sleep.... this was the line from Robert Frost that  kept me motivated throughout the journey. I feel more proud in being a blogger as I have struggled a lot, every single day and still struggle to manage so many things from office to personal interests to Friends and Family.
I am not in a position to give back to all those people who have unknowing supported me throughout this journey. So, I've decided to give back to the Quora Community. I am sharing what I do in the field of blogging after 8 months 18 days after I started that challenge.  There are twist and turns on the way but sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. ( Quote by Shiv Kheda)

How To Deal With Too Many Options?

By doing too many things without thinking where I am heading, without worrying about gain or pain.
By moving forward after falling and then rising every time.
People say you do too many things and are bound to fail.
I fail to listen and keep running pursuing different passions.
I prepared a list of 35-40 things that I wanted to do. Then, I filtered out some of them, clubbed many and finally landed at 19 Things that make me happy
I started following them crazily.
I Read books. Write summaries.
Do Volunteering. Write.
Enjoy the company of nature. Write.
Surfing Internet to Know or learn something new. Write.
Photography. Write to compliment each unique photo.
Travelling. Write about the experience.
Food. Cook And write
Lift someone’s spirit,  Mentor someone. Write
Watching good movies & documentaries, Write reviews
Home Decoration. Write.
In this process, I found clarity. I realized that I'm interested in niche blogging
I have too many options and so I run many niche blogs. Here is a glimpse. You can apply this for whatever is your calling.

Short Story: Prayas

A storm came and he fell on the ground. He was hurt, broken and shattered. After all, he hit rock bottom. He mustered some courage and decided to move forward. The road ahead was slippery and he moved up for some time and then fell on the floor again.
It hurt him more but again he gathered will power and decided to overcome his miseries. He was determined to come out of hell. This time he was moving up with a strong resolve to come out.
He was steadily moving up and was about to come out as a free spirit but alas! he lost  his way and fell on the floor again.
It was his third fall and this time he didn't wasted a second in remorse. After all, he knew that what doesn't kills makes him stronger.
He was again moving up like a brave solider on a mission.
"It has been three hours since the young girl was watching an ant struggling to climb up on a slippery wall.  She didn't knew what happened but she was crying inconsolably watching the ant struggling to move out."
Finally, she uttered while wiping her tears that someone has rightly said that
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

How Can Quora Help Me Figure Out If I'm A Poor Writer?

I'm a poor writer when I write an answer and rather than posting it, clear the draft.
I'm a poor writer when external factors affects me and prevent me from telling my story.
I'm a poor writer when my best answers die a silent death.
I'm a poor writer when I feel that upvotes are a measure of quality.
I'm a poor writer when I don't write.
I'm a poor writer when I fail to tell my story even when nobody is interested.
I'm a poor writer when I compare myself with others.

I'm not a poor writer; I'm a budding writer. Read writing tips-Writing is Painting

How To Promote Your Blog Through Quora?

What you're offering to your audience?
What's your USP?
What is something that you do better than many other? Blog is a place where you can freely tell your tale. If you're touching life of others, you would get readers and followers.
I've not done anything extraordinary yet I get readers from quora on my blog. When you add value for others through your answers/posts then you're bound to get followers and readers on your blog. Like Quora, I don't monetize my blog and pursue blogging as a hobby without worrying about money or followers. This strategy is doing wonders for me. My friends say I'm crazy for not signing up for adsense despite my consistency at blogging, they're not wrong. But, trust me, you can do wonders at blogging when your focus is only on telling your story and finding your voice in the process. I have never wrote for audience but I have always known my audience. Let your audience find you. Leave them with a lot of curiosity and they will ask google about you and would find your blog. You can give link to your blogs on your quora bio and see the magic. :p

How I Maintained And Grew My Blog?

  1. I challenged myself to write 111 blogposts in 30 days. It paid off.
  2. I could barely write 43 posts during the time frame but the trick worked.
  3. Hence, I managed to write around 400 posts in  6 months.
  4. Point No-3 happened because of Quora.
  5. I used questions as props and thus could write on a wide variety of topics.
  6. I've never sign up for any monetizing plan as it helps me stay focus on blogging as a passion.
  7. I don't want to pursue writing or blogging as a full time activity as I always want to pursue these for free. Still, you never know...my plans often fail and I take a different route from the one planned.
  8. Most people say that "Write for your audience"- I didn't wrote for them....I didn't tried to find audience.
  9. I'm not arrogant...I'm just aware of the fact that as a newbie, I need to establish my expertise rather than running behind anyone.
  10. When you add value through your posts then sooner or later, your blogs will get the right audience.
  11. So, Focus on building a resourceful blog rather than building the follower or reader list.
  12. I'm telling all this as I'm coming from ZERO. And, I'm learning and enjoying the whole process.
  13. After all, I have the freedom to express myself. I'm destined to grow.
  14. Keep writing and put a heap of low, high and average contents. You can always remove the excess fat and give direction to your blog.
