The screams of the Peshawar school children will haunt us forever..... the scars of this inhuman act can never heal... but Oh! God , please give the strength to all the families that lost their kids.....as wounded hearts are like crushed flowers that never bloom again.

How I want to be remembered?

(I am not a miser in choosing nice words for me:P)

I don't want to be known as an engineer but an inspiring writer. I want to be remembered as a kind and compassionate person. I want to run charitable schools, write soul searching and inspiring books for youths. My Mom is an incredible cook. I want to document her cooking skills in the form of a blog, book or anything. I want her to get recognition in her field of expertise beyond the family, relatives, friends and neighbors. I want to transform this Blog into a thriving resource by the time I leave. I have many dreams. I want to fulfill them and encourage others to chase their dream. I want to be remembered as one of the finest son, dad, brother, hubby, friend and mentor. I don't aspire to be rich or famous. I want to die with immense joy and satisfaction in peace. I want to be remembered as someone who lived well, loved well and served well. I want to leave this world a little more beautiful than I found it. But before dying, I have to live and do thing I have written here (Before I die...I have to ) as I have to go miles before I sleep…

IGNORANCE: Did you know?

Did you Know that you can monitor the advertisements that you see on TV or Print throughout your life.

How?

You can report any misleading advertisements on TV or Print to 30 years old Not for Profit Organisation (NPO), The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) at their website, www.ascionline.org and they will ensure that your genuine concerns are addressed.

Did you know this? I also didn't knew about it till few months ago. And, now ASCI has featured me as their ambassador for reporting misleading advertisements to them.

If you are interested, you can read ASCI Ambassador Rohan Sinha to know more.

How do I change my Family?

Why you want to change them?

May be you might be upset with some of their behavior.

Rather than changing them, learn to change your response to their behavior which probably upsets you.

Their behavior will change once you change your response.

Hope this helps. My answer is based on assumptions and please get back if it doesn't helps.

Biggest Misconception People have about Life

  • I am not interested in anything- Create something new if you don't have zeal to follow the traditional path. Build your own path, everyone is interested in one thing or another.Larry Page invented Google and it became a dream company for many people.
  • I am a Failure, I cannot get success- Everyone fails at times but those who get up each time they fall are able to achieve success. Big failures teaches big lessons. I failed at something which was everything for me. Now I have embraced it and I see the positives in it. I wrote about my turning point as an answer to What is that one incident that changed your life?
  • I am not good at anything-   Never let something make you believe that you are Good for Nothing.

Crocodile cannot fly and Butterfly cannot swim- There is no point for the crocodile to feel bad that he cannot fly or the butterfly to feel bad for not being able to swim. Doesn't it makes sense. Same is with all of us. We just need to identify things which makes us happy.
  • I am not Talented, no one appreciates my work-  Galileo told that the earth moves around the sun contrary to the popular belief that the sun revolves around the earth. Galileo was considered as a mad man all his life. The poor chap got all the recognition after his death. Same Pinch Galileo :(
  • I have just wasted my life- We feel that we have wasted our life but you know, nothing is wasted in this world. Bamboo Tree doesn’t show sign of growth in first four- five years. But, in the next one year it will grow rapidly. Now, the reality is that the growth doesn't occur only in one year, it happens over a period of 5-6 years.

During the first 5 years the growth of roots is happening and the foundation is getting stronger which let the bamboo to grow rapidly in last one year.
  • I don't give a damn to people- Life is all about People. So, wherever you go value people. Respect them, add value to their life through your association.
  • Nothing is permanent- Abraham Lincoln was unable to win even a local election, all his life he failed in whatever he did and see one day he became the president of US. It was not luck but hard work.
  • I am waiting for the perfect someone- Life happens when we wait for the perfect someone. Stop Chasing and Start Living.
  • I hate when people try to take credit for my work- Don't be angry and say thank you to them for teaching that " Passengers are responsible for the security of their baggage". It is our responsibility to ensure that no one rob us. An eclipse cannot hide the sun from shining for long. You are born to rock. And, you are gonna shine :)
  • Getting Lost is not a Bad Idea- Sometimes, we have to get lost to find ourself.  Don't you agree with me :)

A true inspiring story of an Indian boy

TV Set and a Poor Boy

Today my Mom told an inspiring story of a boy whose family was very  poor.  The boy loved movies  but they don't had TV and  thus he used to go to 1 to 2 Km to watch Television at someone else's house. When he was a kid, a movie was telecasted into two days. On Saturday, only half of the movie would be covered and the balance will be telecasted on the Sunday.

Once, he watched  a movie till interval on Saturday but when he went the next day  to watch the balance movie, the doors were closed on him.

He was sad and upset about that incident. Then his Father told something that changed his life.

His Father told that

Don't worry, do something that you are always on Television.

The words stuck.

Now that boy has grown up and is always on Television.

He is none other than Rajat Sharma, the chairman and editor in chief of an Indian Hindi news channel, India TV. He is one of India's most prominent journalists and the anchor cum host of the talk show,  Aap Ki Adalat

Respect! You are a rockstar. I am watching you since I was a Kid. I love you and I love Aap Ki Adalat.  But, my respect for you has grown exponentially after knowing this.

Big failures teaches big lessons.  I wrote about my turning point as an answer to What is that one incident that changed your life? I would invite you to check out my blog Life is Beautiful for many inspiring articles.

It is futile to compare Quora Top Writers, Balaji Viswanathan and Robert Frost

Why is it that Robert Frost appeals to all kinds of audience but Balaji Viswanathan appeals to only Indians?

Please don't compare Apples with Oranges

Balaji Viswanathan and Robert Frost are complimentary to each other. See their profile and you can find the differences.

Mr Balaji is most viewed writer for the topics like India, Indian Ethnicity & People, Economics, Politics of India, History, World History, International Relations, Finance, Investing, Hinduism, Stock Market, Education, Business, Jobs and careers, Microsoft, Foreign Policy, etc

Whereas

Mr Robert is most viewed write for the topics like NASA, Outer Space, Space Exploration, International Space Station, Astronomy, Astronauts, Physics, Planetary science, etc.

They are the expert on different topics and are stalwart in their field. There is no question of comparison.

Why Indians are more crazy about Mr. Balaji than Mr. Robert?

More than 50 % Indians on Quora ( more than 20 Lakh) are below 25 years of age. We are still struggling to know about the things on this planet like History, Politics, Economics, Jobs and Career and hence fewer Indians have interest in topics which are the expertise of Mr. Robert.

Same goes for others, Balaji Viswanathan is a craze for us because he makes us understand our country in a better way and that's why we love him. We understand that the people from other nations might not have much interest in many topics of Mr. Balaji as he write on things that are related to India & Indian.

But, he is also the most viewed writer for World History, Stock Market, Jobs & Careers, Microsoft, Economics & History which are universal topics. Now, he can't help if people from other nation don't follow him despite his expertise in these topics.

Balaji Viswanathan

I am an ardent fan of Mr. Balaji and I am fascinated by all that Mr. Robert shares as I have keen interest in Space & Aeronautics.

I wrote some days ago about the qualities of Balaji which makes us admire him. He is an Entrepreneur, a Patriotic, systematic, organised, has an incredible memory, is a family man, a proud dad, a learner, a teacher, etc. Please read more in my response to the following question. Hope you will develop a desire to follow him after reading it.

How does Balaji Vishwanathan sustain such a wonderful memory while taking in such a huge amount of information every day?

Why did Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik have a Spat?

Murali Vijay has married the ex-wife of Dinesh Karthik and there have been rumors of their spat. However, there is no confirmation on this spat in the public domain. Hope you don't consider the gossips published  like "According to our sources, we learned that Karthik and Vijay are not on speaking terms" as a reliable source.

They will run a story around it. These articles are like fantasies stories and most of the time have no credibility to support their claim.

We must respect the personal life of celebrities or sports persons. These rumors sometimes affect them even it they claim that they don't care.

Do you remember the so called spat between  Hrithik & Arjun Rampal over the proximity of Sussanne Khan with Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr.

Hrithik has to go on Twitter to stop people from making speculations about his or his ex-wife sussanne's personal life.

Some Interesting facts with respect to this question:
  • The best persons to answer this question, Murali Vijay and Karthik are keeping mum on the matter hence someone like me has to step in :)
  • Only the magazine and newspaper that publish gossip are getting benefited and we are left high and dry.
It is just to remind that it's like an egg and chicken story and unless Vijay or Karthik clarify this, we can never know the reality.

Can you sell something that people don't need

Yes, I can! We just need to trigger the feeling of self importance and how buying that rare painting will make his/her house look unique.  I agree withPeter Flom that  99.99% of stuff that is sold is things we don't need.

Almost everyone want to possess something that differentiate them from the rest:
  • In Medieval Europe, King and Elite People used some words of French in their english to look more refined and polished. Their English was different from what was spoken by the masses.
  • ( Those who were kids in 90s in India  can relate) Non-English speaking Indians often admire Indians who speak in  English. When I was in school, there was fine for speaking in Hindi :( . I see the kids of today talking in fluent english and once in a while I remember my childhood when we used to look with awe at those speaking in English fluently and admire them or  sometimes curse them.

Why a girl say sorry in a fight first even when she is not wrong?

It's not always that girls say sorry first but they do so most of the time.

I personally feel that Girls are more mature when it comes to relationships and hence they know that it is better to say sorry to close an argument when they value the person who is arguing. It is better to bend a bit than break a wonderful relationship.

But guys, if you don't learn the lessons then be ready to hear something more on the argument you were having 3 months ago.

Hats off Girls, you really make relationships work and thus make things easier for guys :)

Useful Hack to save your life in Danger

PRESENCE OF MIND

My Colleague went to Nairobi, Kenya for business development. He used to frequently visit a mall which was later attacked by terrorists. He was staying in a Hotel which was nearby and the experience was horrible. When he came back we were discussing about that incident and he told that many were killed after asking  questions like "Who was wife/ mother of Prophet?"

So, we thought about what should be done in such  situation to save our life.

BLUFF TO SAVE YOUR LIFE

Now don't flunk, tell  anything which sounds like an Islamic name, say Heena. He might not kill you upfront and would clarify by saying it is wrong. Tell him confidently  that " She was lovingly called by Prophet as Heena. Don't argue with me if you have not read Quran. Go read the Quran first before talking to a devout Muslim. Allah will never forgive you for your ignorance."

Chances are really slim that in the middle of a terrorist attack, one illiterate terrorist would go and cross check with others about your answer. Don't worry, those so called Islamist don't know anything about Islam. They really have no religion.

FAKE DEATH TO SURVIVE

Lie on the floor like a dead body, imagine postures from the movies you have seen and put them to good use. Many in Terrorist Attack  at HOTEL TAJ in Mumbai have saved their life by this method.

I feel that these tips works and I would request you to share about these if you feel they can be helpful. Terrorist attacks are unpredictable and we never know when these tips can come handy but I pray that nobody should face a situation where these tips can be tried or tested.  You better know why :)

5 Tips to make your world simple

  1. Slow down:Life is not a race, so take it easy. Slow down a bit to be in the moment. Leave that earphone at home occasionally and listen to the chirping of birds, smell the flowers, see the carefree kid play and revisit your childhood more often. Take that window seat and see out rather than looking at your phone. It's worth it.
  2. Donate: Please donate the old clothes that you have in your wardrobe. They would look better on someone less privileged. Donate Books, stationary and other things that you don't require at home.
  3. Small steps makes big Impact: Do you love something but haven't pursued it as you don't get time for it. Why don't you do it in small steps. Let me explain. I always wanted to run a blog, my first post was in Jan, 2010 and it was followed by 12 posts in next 5.5 years.

I never had time for something I always wanted to do. But, I was wrong as we never have time, we have to find it. An idea turned me into a blogger. I had a vision for my blog that I would write one post per week, this way, I can write 50 posts in a year and in 10 years, I can write 500 posts and if I survive another 50 years, I can write 50*50 = 2500 posts. Now, this inspires me. I hope that someday my blog will be a thriving resource . May be it is the first step toward my dream of writing a book someday.

What is the result of this approach?

I realized that it was easy to follow my passion.  I cut down on sleep (from 8 hr to 6 hr) and finish my lunch quickly to write in the lunch break. Result: In last 8 weeks, I wrote 194 posts of all sizes instead of 1*8= 8, as per the plan (published 143 and 51 are scheduled to be published over a span on 4 months till Dec,15).

The minimum cutoff is one post per week ensures that I don't have to bother about it and I write only for passion.
  4. Write note and hide it: You can develop a habit of writing something positive or inspiring on a paper and hide it somewhere like on a fridge top, a drawer you rarely open, in a file,  your purse,  kitchen cabinet, sugar container, etc. Let you or your family find and read it while looking for something else. I am sure you will love it. It works :)
  5. Your biggest problems might not be that big: Time travel 20 years back and forth. Today you are 25 years old (assume),  The regular supply of  chocolates  and ice-cream was your biggest problem as a 5 year old kid. Those problems are insignificant today, similarly when you would be 45 years of age then you would definitely laugh at your current problems. Feeling this way really helps.
I run a blog Life is Beautiful, hey guys it is not for the experts but the amateurs, who might find it interesting. It's a work in Progress :)

An example of absence of mind

Phone rings

He- Hello dear, how come you call?
She- I have asked you something. Companies are coming in a week's time for campus placement. Have you checked my queries that I have mailed you.

He- I was busy? I will check out your mail.
( It has been 2 days and 3 reminder calls from his sister)

She- What are you doing these days, the workload has increased in Office?
He- Not really, but after office, I am busy  on Quora or writing blogposts. You know, many people ping me for help. It feels good to help others.
She- Ok, I remembered something. I have to go. Bye!
He- Bye!

After 5 minutes, He got a notification for A2A from Anonymous, The question was

What to do if your brother is helping everyone but can't find time for your queries?"

He exclaimed, Oh! it's my sister  :(

*facepalm*

A Question Answer related to Contracts

Q: If I make a business deal with an organization or with any company, do I need to sign a bond paper regarding the deal? Is there any alternative method for making the deal official from both sides?

A: I am a contracts Professional and hope I can help. You have basically two options which are both official.

1. An agreement on Letter head of any of the parties involved can be made, after which it will be duly stamp and signed by both the parties.

2. Make the agreement on non judicial stamp paper. Then, it will be duly stamp and sign by both parties.  And, then register the contract document. Example-  Agreement for Sale/purchase of Flat

Differences between agreement and contract:

An agreement has no legal sanctity but a contract is an agreement which is enforced by law.

Choice is your: If you want to have the benefits of legal protection then go for point no.2 or else point no. 1 will be fine.

I am 23 years old girl and I don't enjoy my MNC job. Help me.

PROBLEM

  1. You are not inspired to work at that MNC
  2. You are feeling stuck in the job as you can’t quit as you have no other option or any personal reason.
  3. You are not the only one who is going through this phase of Life. I have been there, have seen all that you are going through and have travelled the same road.

ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM

The only problem is that when you wake up in the morning you miss the motivation to learn something new, help someone, chase your dreams, love someone and enjoy all the small joys in life (like watching kids play, the cloud, staring at the moon on a full moon, watching sunrise, sunset, smell the roses, etc).

SOLUTIONS TO YOUR PROBLEMS

  • Write in your diary about your feeling and it will make you feel better about yourself.  But, slowly try to see the positive side of everything and write about it.
  • Your job is not your only identity: Albert Einstein has worked as a Clerk but that didn't prevented him from becoming a great scientist of all time.
  • If you are in a job you don't love, either start loving it or start looking for another.
  • If you don't love your career, start loving it or change it. Make a list of things that makes you happy. For guidance you can go through my list  of 19 Things that makes me happy
  • You can always switch industry Harsha Bhogle becoming a full time Cricket Commentator after his post graduation from IIM Ahmadabad.
  • Start taking baby steps- Celebrate small things and small success. I was very happy to learn cooking as it is fun it's like an Art :)
  • Cultivate Hobbies and you will get the spark that is missing in your life. This is the key of my happiness at work. If your job is not making you feel good about yourself, find your happiness from your hobbies,
  • Read good books, stay in touch in company of good people (online/offline) and you will feel more positive about life.
  • Your job is important even when it may feel mundane or repetitive.  Try to find something in the job that you enjoy like I love to interact with people and learn from them. So, I enjoy meeting people which is one of my important role  :)
  • Grass is greener on the other side. As rightly said by Surbhi Ma'am,  Don't compare someone's chapter 20 to your chapter-1. All that glitter is not gold.
  • Love Well, Live Well, Serve Well- These things will help you feel lively and blessed. Life is the time between we are born and we will die. Let us make something good.
  • Bust your Myths about life that like I am good for nothing, I have wasted X years of my life, I don't have natural talent, I don't have zeal to learn, etc in my answer to What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life?
    Thanks for your time:)

What do North Indians think about Baahubali?

Yesterday I saw a question, what Balaji Viswanathan thinks about Baahubali.  Is this really important to know how North Indians or Mr. Balaji  or  Mr. Jimmy Wales think about Baahubali?

The movie must be epic but other people have their own priorities. There are many more things going on in the world and people like Balaji or Jimmy Wales might be more interested to answer the most pressing issues of the day.

Forgive me if I am wrong as I have not seen the movie but the biggest achievement of the movie is that
  • In India, movie based on war of medieval or ancient time has never been made better that Baahubali. This is a great achievement and I am proud on that.
  • But I doubt if  it's better than movies like 300 and Troy for people like Jimmy Wales or Balaji to watch it. I guess, it will not add much value to what they have already seen or known.
Now coming to the question,

North- India consist of various states and within each state we have so much diversity. So, literally it is not possible to represent the views of  North Indians as a whole.

I hail from North India, i.e from Bihar, hope BIHAR is in North, when we divide India into two halves: NORTH and SOUTH, rather than the geographical division of the nation into East, West, North, South and Center.

I have heard that Baahubali is an epic movie and would like to update my answer after watching it soon. But anyway that would be only my opinion and I don't have any authority to claim that my opinion is also that of millions of North Indians.

My Father was a daughter for Grandma

I remember one incident of childhood when my father was reading out a story for my younger brother from his Hindi Textbook. The story was about a boy Rohit whose parents were not treating his Grandma well and the little boy was sad for the sufferings of his grandma.

After finishing the story, Dad asked my brother, “What do you feel about this behavior of Rohit’s parents?”

As my brother’s name is also Rohit, so he started to smile. Mom and I were also smiling in the background as Dad was unaffected by this co-relation and thus he asked my brother why was he smiling.

Suddenly, my dad told, I have always taken care of my parents so this story is not about our family.

We all started laughing and then Mom told something which I had never heard before. She told that Grandma used to call my Dad as beti (daughter).  It was something refreshing to know as normally people call their daughter as beta (son) affectionately but calling a son as beti (daughter) is a rare thing and I think it was so nice of Grandma to do that :)

Someone once asked Grandma that you don't have daughters, but you always place so much importance on them. It must have felt bad. She replied, “Who told you that I don't have daughter, my youngest son is my daughter”.

Comedy of Errors at a Funeral

It has been narrated to me by a Friend who is fond of Acupressure.

Acupressure says that our hands have points which if pressed regularly can cure many diseases. So, clapping helps in pressing of points which has many benefits.

Once, he went to the funeral of his Uncle and as he was clapping loudly in early morning (as a part of his exercise). Suddenly, people came to his room looking puzzled. He realized that he has done a blunder.

Tips to be a Top Writer on Quora. How much time they devote to Quora?

We have hundreds of Top Writers and the number of hours they spend on Quora will be difficult to generalize as it depends on many things and could drastically vary from person to person.

I feel that Top Writer pay focus on Quality and they don't spend time, they invest their time on Quora.

I have interacted with few top writers and based on my experience I am sharing some tips to be a Top Writer:)
  1. Consistency-They contribute to the development of the site regularly.
  2. Selective- They are selective and will respond to a A2A only if they feel that your question will be helpful for many and is new.
  3. Smart- They are smart and they manage their time wisely. Few Top Writer I know accepted that they had become Top Writer when they least expected for it.
  4. All rounder- Quora is a better platform that any other question answer website because you will get noticed even when you answer to questions from topics which are least followed and you have few upvotes and views compared to someone writing on a popular topic.
  5. Criteria- The criteria for being a top writer is subjective with only one objective. The criteria is subjective because number of upvotes or number of views are not the only parameters. The criteria is objective because the purpose is to acknowledge the efforts of those who bring in their unique expertise and write quality answers and hence, Quora wants to retain all who are making invaluable contributions.
  6. Look beyond writing answers- Writing answers is wonderful but Quora also loves all-rounders who ask though provoking Questions and offer feedback.
  7. Self Driven- Top Writers give Feedback to other's answers through suggesting edits, merging similar questions, writing insightful comments to answers of others, upvoting quality answers , downvoting badly drafted or incorrect answers, reporting violation of any of the policy of Quora, etc. They are self driven by their passion to make Quora a wonderful and extremely helpful resource for generations to come.
  8. Writing is Editing- Top Writers like the humble man Balaji Viswanathan suggests that we should revisit our answers again and again to improvise it. After all, we are contributing to the Quora's vision of compiling the "Best Answers to any Question".
  9. Write answers to tough Questions- You may find that many worthy questions are lying unanswered while we spend our time writing the 361st answer to a question which has been flooded with answers. Mr. Balaji recommends that we should answer to questions which don't have a better answer.
  10. Follow Top Writers- Read to your favorite top writers and learn from them. Treat them as your virtual mentors and just by staying in their company, you will gradually improve as a writer and don't forget that " Good things happen when you least expect them"
  11. Be a mentor yourself- You can never grow unless you know how to share your knowledge selflessly with others. Idolize the great people we have on Quora. I also admire Ellen Vrana, who once told me to do good things to others and I am proud to say that I am able to contribute to the learning of many newcomers like me on Quora. (PS- I am a 2 month old baby on Quora)

Who are the villans in our life?

My Mom & My Dad
  • I love my parents the most but when I look back, I can't find bigger villains.
  • I remember numerous incidents when my Mom wake me from Deep Sleep to feed me.I really disliked her for that.
  • I hated my Mom for not letting me play in the scorching sun during my summer vacation. I really wanted to play under the sun but she felt I would fall ill.
  • My Mother prevented me from drinking water, when I used to be damn thirsty after a tiring cricket Match.
  • Not only this, I wanted to dance in the first monsoon but again my Mom never allowed me to have this simple pleasure.
  • I hate every time, she don't pick my call when Dad is around. She will return the call from my Dad's phone immediately to help me save on my mobile bills. She still didn't realize that I earn enough to pay for my mobile bills.
  • I hate my Dad  for making me study Maths as a Kid. The Tables of 13 were really difficult. He should have understood that. But, he didn't. And, today I love Maths the most.
  • I hate my Dad for being so strong physically, mentally and emotionally. He is more than twice my age and still I can't beat him in any field.
  • I hate my Dad when he calls me every Sunday to check the matrimonial sites to find a girl. I though he would like to find one for me. Why he is passing the ball in my court. He should have informed me this when I was in College.
  • I hate my Dad because he don't scold me anymore. Even when I try to be smart and dare argue with him when I am wrong.
  • I hate to see that my Dad is evolving more than me and he makes me realize that his wardrobe is more diversified than mine.
  • I hate my Dad for never telling me that he loves me.
I really hate my Mom & my Dad :)

Question Answer on Mr Nadella and Mr Pichai

Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella both belong to India with extraordinary talent. Why is talent judged by fluent English, smartness and by fair color?

Talent is not judged by Fluent English and smartness alone. Fair skin is not a criteria at all.

I will not be surprised if my friend working for a reputed  BPO might be having better fluency that Mr. Pichai. Success is determined by Passion and the desire to push one's limit. It's all about coming out of one's comfort zone and play hard. There is no shortcut to success.

Failures are the seeds of success. A CEO is a visionary, he has to be a cheerleader and an inspiration for getting enormous success. No one can buy respect. Business is all about People and those who respect people and are able to inspire them are the biggest leaders.

There is no doubt over the credibility of Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella. We have to understand that they are not getting picked by a conservative families to marry their daughters. They have been chosen by their respective companies as their leader, a commander-in-chief.

Please respect Google and Microsoft for their pick which is not influenced by the the colour of their skin or their nationality.

They are the best men to lead their companies. Mr. Nadella is with Microsoft for more than 22 years and Mr. Pichai is with Google for more than 11 years. They have held key portfolios in their companies and have earned the respect and trust of their Founders, and the employees at large.

Just be proud that they are bringing Laurels to the Indian Community. Hope I have answered your question.

Most Embarrassing thing that happened in front of your crush

I was in Class Xth. I was very happy that day because a girl I liked asked a difficult Maths Problem and I was the one who solved that to earn the praise of our teacher who seldom appreciated anyone.

It was the best feeling to be appreciated in front of her but my joy was short lived.

After the coaching class was over, I took my bicycle with the attitude as if I had a Pulsar. I started riding it very fast just to fall on the ground  some 10-15 meters ahead of her. But, I bounced back after hitting the ground within fraction of seconds and started pedalling it faster in a hope that she didn't saw me falling from the cycle like a stupid.

Next day, she asked me, it was you who fell from the cycle and then ran like a thief.
Me- (with confidence) No, you must have seen someone else.
She- Don't try to be smart. I saw your yellow t-shirt and recognized that it was you. ( She started laughing)
Me-  *Poker Face*
(Never wore that  T-shirt again)
