Why is Quora predominantly popular in India?

1. The Population of India is 1200 million which is approx. 4 times of USA's population of 300 million.
2. I assume that Quora has 1,00,00,000 Users
3. So, 20.8 % of Quora users from USA means 20,80,000 Users
4. 41.3% of Quora  users from India means 41,30,000 Users
5. The ratio between quora users from India to USA is 2:1, whereas the ratio of population of India to USA is 4:1
6. Although, 41 % users are from India but quora is more popular is USA than India.Just because of our population, we have more headcount on quora.

Update: 

Wait ! I am not done.  Statistics is Funny. Let us see the analysis the other way round. ( Based on number of Internet Users  in both countries irrespective of their population)

The Internet Users in India is 300 Million and the same is USA is 266 Million. So, if we consider the Internet versed public then, Quora is more popular in the internet savvy people of India that the same community of USA.

Why Quora is more popular in India's Internet savvy public than their brethren in USA?

• Around 50% of India's Internet savvy public is below the age of 25 whereas the internet penetration is USA is relatively uniform irrespective of age or class.
• It means approx 150 millions students, graduates, undergrads, new employees in India are at Quora. Whereas, in USA, I don't have datas, but i am sure this would not be more than 30 % of their 266 mn internet users, i.e. 80 millions. ( because they have internet users in all age groups)
• So, you can see that we have more students from India on quora, almost double the number students in USA and this is the reason Indians are thriving on Quora. The Indian students have transformed their free time into a productive hobby by becoming an active users.
• I am a 2011 engineering undergraduate, who always felt himself to be tech savvy. But, I registered for quora only last month after Varun Rai came to our office as Intern. So, you can say he introduced me to Quora. Many of my friends and family came to know about quora from me. Quora has a long way to go in India
