- Sundar Pichai is with Google for 11 years and had played key role in the development of Google Chrome, Google maps , Google Drive, Gmail, Android etc
- Satya Nadella is working with Microsoft for around 22 years since 1992. He has held prestigious roles before becoming CEO like he was President - Server & Tools Division, Sr. VP - R&D- Online Services Division , VP- Business Division, Corporate VP- Business Solutions and Search & Advertising Platform Group, EVP- Cloud and Enterprise group
- CEOs are chosen based on this passion and commitment to take the organisation to the next level and take care of the overall development of the company. They are accountable to the stakeholders. Anyone who uses product or services of the respective company is a stake holder. As I am typing this answer, I am a stakeholder of Dell (My laptop), Quora (website I am using), Google ( using their browser chrome), Windows (using their operating system, Windows XP not Windows 10 :P
