Are Non-Hundus offended with the name of Newspaper "The Hindu"

I read somewhere that Ramjaan start with Ram and Diwali ends with Ali.

I have friends who loves The Hindu irrespective of their religion. I guess the reason for the same may be that

1. The content of the newspaper is not biases against any community or religion.
2. It is like for those who love Classical things will always love R.K Narayan more that Chetan Bhagat despite the fact that Chetan Bhagat has sold more books.
3. The Hindu is like an Art movie and is not tempted by the other mainstream newspapers.
4. The readers of The Hindu are serious readers who are not behind scandalous articles. It is meant for serious and thoughtful readers irrespective of their religion.
5. Does name really matter? It depends!
